In August 2020, he played the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Beethoven's Triple Concerto, and in August 2021, he completed a recital of "No Fixed Ideas," which explored the world of German composers' works.

At the age of 20, Son won the Georgi Enescu Competition (Romania) in 2011 and distinguished himself by winning international competitions such as the Geneva Music Competition (Switzerland) and the Baltidon Competition (Italy). He took the stage of the Munich Chamber Orchestra including the Bavarian Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra (Munich Gastijk), made his name known throughout the world with the Schlesien Kammer Orchestra in Katowice, Poland, and held solo concerts in Istanbul, Turkey, and Ankara.
